Hilton Head Island Restaurant Guide
We love visiting Hilton Head Island and the many restaurants on the island. It is always a difficult choice for us as to whether we will visit a restaurant we have eaten at before or try a new one. As always, the restaurants have changed over the years and we have seen some of our favorites disappear.

Some of our favorite restaurants on the Island:
The Crazy Crab – two locations – great seafood
Plantation Cafe – two locations – great breakfast and lunch
Kenny B’s Cajun Seafood – Have great New Orleans Cuisine
One Hot Mama’s – Good Southern food
Salty Dog restaurants at South Beach in Sea Pines – There are several choices and they all offer great food and that includes the grilled burgers on the patio.
Just Pasta – Great Italian entrees
Sea Shack – Great Seafood at a reasonable price – Has appeared on the Food Channel – Extremely casual
Yum!!!!!!!! So now I am hungry and would love to be able to go to the Island right now for a wonderful meal. There is so much competition among the restaurants on the Island and they all have to be very vigilant in offering great food and service.
I hope each and every one of you reading this will have an opportunity to visit this wonderful place. I think I got my first taste of really great food when I visited this resort over 30 years ago. It gave me a desire to experience all kinds of food and to really appreciate quality food prepared deliciously.

Next time you’re in Hilton Head be sure to try Ela’s in Shelter Cove Harbour. They just opened recently and have been getting awesome reviews! They also have a killer view of the water.
